Brief

Sandy came to the atelier looking for a women’s suit that could carry her through different occasions within her professional life. She wanted tailoring that felt polished and composed, without appearing overly rigid or boxy.

The brief called for a suit with structure, ease and femininity — a piece that could bring quiet versatility to her wardrobe.

Solution

After studying Sandy’s body shape and measurements, the design was developed around her broad shoulder line and narrower waist. The aim was to create balance through proportion: softening the upper body, defining the waist with subtle control, and allowing the overall silhouette to feel refined rather than severe.

A mid-charcoal suiting fabric was recommended for its versatility. The tone offers polish while pairing effortlessly with different colours, making the suit easier to style across work, occasions and everyday wardrobe needs.

The final piece brought coherence to Sandy’s wardrobe — a made-to-measure suit shaped with structure, softness and confidence.
