Made for Client — Women’s Suit

Soft structure refined through proportion, fit and movement, created for a composed modern wardrobe.

Brief

Sandy came to Adam with a clear wardrobe need: a suit set that could be worn together or styled separately with ease. Rather than a closely fitted traditional suit, she wanted a looser, more relaxed silhouette that could move between formal, smart and casual occasions.

The jacket needed to work beyond a full suit look — pairing naturally with pleated skirts, flared skirts, A-line silhouettes and trousers already in her wardrobe.

Solution

Adam designed a double-breasted suit with a peak lapel, giving the piece structure while retaining versatility. When worn buttoned, the jacket carries a more formal presence; when left open, it softens into a smart-casual layer that can be styled effortlessly with different wardrobe pieces.

A royal blue check with brown pinstripe was recommended for the fabric, bringing a modern character with a touch of British elegance. The colour and pattern allowed the suit to feel distinctive without becoming difficult to wear.

The final set was created with wardrobe coherence in mind — a made-to-measure suit that could stand as a complete look, while giving Sandy the freedom to pair each piece with the garments she already owns.
